One month. I have been in the Philippines for one month as of October 1st. Looking back, it’s crazy that one-third of my trip is already over. I have been busy doing work around the community, working at the children’s home and the JAZ home, going on feedings, taking kids swimming, leading a Bible study for the community girls, and helping lead chapel every Friday at two schools. I honestly don't really know what I'm doing with my life. There are so many options to choose from. Maybe that's why I changed my major 4 times; maybe that's why I ended up in the Philippines for 3 months. I used to get so overwhelmed back at home thinking of all the things I "have to get done" or I "need to accomplish today."  Life seems so complicated. There's bills to pay, homework to do, bosses to satisfy, things to clean, and not enough hours in a day. But maybe this mundane life we live is much simpler than we think....
