Every week, we experience just a taste of the glory and majesty of heaven. While we do experience love, joy, and redemption on a daily basis, that isn’t what I’m talking about here. I’m talking about going to church.   That may be the most Sunday school answer of all time. But let me explain. One Month Down.

One month. I have been in the Philippines for one month as of October 1st. Looking back, it’s crazy that one-third of my trip is already over. I have been busy doing work around the community, working at the children’s home and the JAZ home, going on feedings, taking kids swimming, leading a Bible study for the community girls, and helping lead chapel every Friday at two schools. Throw Your To-Do List Out The Window.

I honestly don't really know what I'm doing with my life. There are so many options to choose from. Maybe that's why I changed my major 4 times; maybe that's why I ended up in the Philippines for 3 months. I used to get so overwhelmed back at home thinking of all the things I "have to get done" or I "need to accomplish today."  Life seems so complicated. There's bills to pay, homework to do, bosses to satisfy, things to clean, and not enough hours in a day. But maybe this mundane life we live is much simpler than we think....
