To know how much these children love me, is enough to hold onto. They know all of us by name, they hug you and give you sloppy wet kisses out of the ordinary. They love you for who you are and how much you've made a difference in their lives. There is always joy and hurt and someday they'll look back and they'll remember those stories of "Remember when we laughed until we cried?"
when i see their delegate bodies, fragile bones, fear in their eyes, and the tears that they cry, yet their courage to still stand up on their own it reassures me that i can be strong enough too, for them and myself. how can I not love them? so these are my words to you now.
Teach them with love. Pray with them through trials and troubles. Not all of them have a mommy and daddy to tell them that everything will be ok, or that Jesus Loves them. And that's where you come in and be there to tell them there is a God who loves them more than anything. They need God inside them just as much as we do. He can fix them, restore them, touch them, and show them. We can all help and break through their shells, the attention and love we give them shows how much we really care.
And though our skin maybe different or our culture that shouldn't stop us from speaking and teaching the gospel. LOVE matters the most when it's given to these children, and through time it will continually grow. When they poor out their stories i can almost feel what they feel, and it hurts so much. that's how i know that they have had it worse than i.
BUT AS FOR YOU, CONTINUE IN WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED AND HAVE BECOME CONVINCED OF, BECAUSE YOU KNOW THOSE FROM WHOM YOU HAVE LEARNED IT, AND HOW FROM INFANCY YOU HAVE KNOWN THE HOLY SCRIPTURES, WHICH ARE ABLE TO MAKE YOU WISE FOR SALVATION THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS. ALL SCRIPTURE IS GOD BREATHED AND IS USEFUL FOR TEACHING, REBUKING, CORRECTING AND TRAINING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, SO THAT THE SERVANT OF GOD MAY BE THOROUGHLY EQUIPPED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK. 2 Timothy 3:14-17 {NIV}
